Mike James: Multiple Peak Training for Runners

by | Jan 20, 2019 | Podcasts On Performance

Mike James ‘The Endurance Physio‘ is a hugely experienced ultra endurance athlete and evidence driven therapist so expect some great advice as Mike chats to us live from this year’s ‘The Running Show‘ at the Birmingham NEC.

After a natural & expected conversation about beard products (you’ll only appreciate that if you joined us for the live video recording at www.facebook.com/runchatlive), Mike focused on how to successfully prepare for multiple peaks in a year without succumbing to the all too often symptoms of overtraining, pain or injury.

This episode provided a good example of the advantages of joinng us for the LIVE recording. By doing so you get the chance to ask our guest questions and benefit from their huge experience!

Mike James was one of our speakers at ‘RCL International Running Conference 2019’ in Brighton, UK. His presentation can be accessed HERE.

Interested in starting YOUR OWN Podcast?

Here’s two things we wish someone had told us when we started:

  • WHICH PODCAST HOST?
Choosing a suitable host company to upload, store & distribute your podcast material will always depend on your individual circumstances & needs. That said, if you’re looking for a company to help your podcast grow, we recommend Podbean. Set up is super easy, as is transferring from a different host. Click HERE for details.
  • WHICH RECORDING SOFTWARE?
After trying many ways to do both solo recordings and with guests, we wholeheartedly recommend you try Be.Live online software. It’s the best value, simple to use (for you AND your guest), and has some great tools to brand it as you want. Testing the software is FREE (no credit card recquired). Click HERE for full details.
