A look inside improving running economy

by | Sep 30, 2018 | Podcasts On Performance

In Ep.4 of RunChatLive, we look at what Running Efficiency means and discuss how methods of achieving it may differ from one runner to the next.

During the course of 20 minutes we consider what can be done to try and increase running efficiency, and also pitfalls that can surprise us if we go about it incorrectly.

As always, whether you are a runner, coach or therapist who works with runners, we woul dlive to hear if there is anything you agree/disagree with, or just want to share an experience. Also, use the comment section if there is anything running injury/performance related you would like to hear us talk about in future RunChatLive episodes.

Note On These Early Episodes
The first few episodes of Runchatlive are just me (Matt Phillips) on a phone, so don’t expect much in terms of visual quality! In Episode 8 we start having guests!

If you’d like to help us spread evidence based intervention to runners, coaches & therapists then do please share our episodes across social media, especially on Apple Podcasts/iTunes as that really helps us reach new listeners. Thanks in advance and enjoy!

AUDIO RECORDING

Interested in starting YOUR OWN Podcast?

Here’s two things we wish someone had told us when we started:

  • WHICH PODCAST HOST?
Choosing a suitable host company to upload, store & distribute your podcast material will always depend on your individual circumstances & needs. That said, if you’re looking for a company to help your podcast grow, we recommend Podbean. Set up is super easy, as is transferring from a different host. Click HERE for details.
  • WHICH RECORDING SOFTWARE?
After trying many ways to do both solo recordings and with guests, we wholeheartedly recommend you try Be.Live online software. It’s the best value, simple to use (for you AND your guest), and has some great tools to brand it as you want. Testing the software is FREE (no credit card recquired). Click HERE for full details.
