“Putting Evidence Back Into
Running Injury and Performance”

What is The Runners Collective?

by | Nov 24, 2020 | The Runners Collective

For runners, being injured is obviously no fun. What makes it even MORE frustrating is the contradicting advice we typicaly hear depending on the professional we seek help from. Everyone seems to have a different solution. Why is that?

‘The Runners Collective’ is a project created by Matt Phillips, host of Runchatlive Podcast & RCL Running Conference to help the Running Industry move on from its many outdated ideas & misconceptions.

The Facebook group serves as a HUB for runners who have grown tired of repetitive injury & training plateaus, and want to adopt a more ‘evidence based’ approach to Running Injury & Performance.

With the help of trusted industry professionals, The Runners Collective will bring you in clear, simple words what we DO know about reducing injury risk & increasing running performance, and just as importantly what we DON’T know.

By use of live video chats, podcasts, links to blogs & research papers, our goal is to ensure that as a member of the group, your experience as a runner WILL improve.

Physiotherapists, therapists, podiatrists, etc. are welcome to join the group BUT need to introduce three new runners a month in order to remain in the group and help it grow.
