RCL International Running Conference 2019
The ‘RCL International Running Conference 2019’ is set to take place this October (Wed 30th & Thurs 31st) in Brighton, England. Those who attend will have the opportunity to see, hear & question TEN acclaimed experts from the world of Running Injury & Performance, coming from as far afield as Australia, Canada and The United States.
Over the course of two days, you will have a chance to not only attend the speaker’s presentations but also partake in TWO ninety minute ‘Question Time’ sessions with all ten speakers on stage. The conference venue Greater Brighton Metropolitan College is a 3 minute walk from Brighton Railway Station and just a ten minute walk to the famous Brighton beach.
This Year’s Speakers
In all honesty, even we are amazed by the incredible line-up of speakers we have for this conference. In order of distance travelled they are Simon Bartold (Australia), Christopher Johnson (United States), Dr. JF Esculier (Canada), Dr. Derek Griffin (Kerry, Ireland), Paul Coker (Cornwall), Jack Chew (Manchester), Mike James (Glamorgan), Dr. Izzy Moore (Cardiff), Paul Westwood (Midlands), Ian Griffiths (London). Details of each speaker can be seen below along with the presentations they will be giving.
Who is the conference for?
• Therapists, Student therapists, coaches & trainers who work with runners/triathletes
• Runners & triathletes interested in evidence based strategies to reduce injury & increase performance.
The conference provides a total of 16 points of CPD/CEU (8 each day), fully endorsed by The Sports Therapy Association. Please specify on booking if you would like a digital copy emailed or a paper certificate awarded at the end of the conference.
This year’s venue Greater Brighton Metropolitan College is a 3 minute walk from Brighton Railway Station (and 10 minutes walk to the beach). Accommodation options are many but include Ibis Brighton City Centre (2 minute walk), Premier Inn Brighton City Centre (10 minute walk) and of course the famous Grand Brighton Hotel (16 minute walk).

We have created different tickets for Therapists, Runners (non-therapists), Students (undergraduates with a university email address) and Virtual Tickets (to watch the conference from your home, either live stream or post event recording):
Therapists attending both days of the conference will be awarded 16 CPD/CEU points (8 for one day), fully endorsed by The Sports Therapy Association. Please specify on booking if you would like a digital copy emailed or a paper certificate awarded on the day.

Runner (non-therapist) Tickets
If you are a runner and NOT a therapist, we are eager for you to come hear evidence based ways to reduce injury & maximise performance, and hopefully take the information back to your club to help fellow runners!
We have therefore created 100 heavily discounted tickets for runners only (displayed on your I.D. badge). Once they are gone they are gone. Get yours NOW!
The RCL International Running Conference offers undergraduate students the chance to learn from ten internationally acclaimed specialists, at a heavily discounted price.
Students will be awarded certificates of attendance, endorsed by The Sports Therapy Association. Student tickets must be purchased with a current student university email address. For group bookings, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can’t make it to the venue? No problem! By purchasing a virtual ticket you will recieve a link allowing you to watch the conference from the comfort of your own home, either streamed direct or any time after the conference (within 2 weeks).
This includes all 10 presentations and both of the 90 minute Question Time sessions with all ten speakers on stage. The Physio Matters Podcast team will also be doing live interviews with speakers & guests, so follow the hashtag #RCL2019 across social media!
