RCL Running Conference 2020 Update
Physical & virtual tickets are now available for the ‘RUNCHATLIVE INTERNATIONAL RUNNING CONFERENCE 2020’, Thursday 29th & Friday 30th October. Watch live online or join us in person in Brighton UK (subject to COVID-19) for two days of presentations with ten internationally acclaimed speakers putting the EVIDENCE back into Running Injury and Performance.
Full details of this year’s speakers are available on the Eventbrite page RCL2020.eventbrite.co.uk and below. We are thrilled and sure that the variety of presentations and two 90 minute Q&A sessions with all TEN speakers will be of HUGE value to therapists, running coaches, runners and personal trainers. There are ticket options for all including therapists, student therapists & non-therapists (both at discounted prices), plus virtual tickets for those of you who prefer to watch from home!
At this time (22/07/20) we are still working with the idea that a physical conference in Brighton will be possible, with suitable COVID-19 measures put in place. However, due to international travel issues, speakers Matt Fitzgerald, Alice Sanvito and Kevin Maggs will now be delivering their presentations virtually on the big screen, and joining the other seven speakers on stage virtually for the ninety minute ‘Question Time’ afternoon sessions.
The entire conference will also be streamed live, so for those of you wishing to watch virtually tickets are available. In the event that COVID-19 means a physical conference can no longer occur, all tickets will be converted into virtual tickets for a fantastically live & interactive 100% virtual conference with exactly the same content. Anyone who paid more for a physical ticket than the price of a virtual ticket will have the difference refunded.
WHO IS THE CONFERENCE FOR?
• Therapists, Student therapists, coaches & trainers who work with runners/triathletes
• Runners & triathletes interested in evidence based strategies to reduce injury & increase performance.
The conference provides a total of 16 points of CPD/CEU (8 each day), fully endorsed by The Sports Therapy Association.
This year’s venue is once again the Greater Brighton Metropolitan College, a 3 minute walk from Brighton Railway Station (and 10 minutes walk to the beach). Accommodation options are many but include Ibis Brighton City Centre (2 minute walk), Premier Inn Brighton City Centre (10 minute walk) and of course the famous Grand Brighton Hotel (16 minute walk).
