When it comes to putting the 'psychosocial' into BPS, Dr. Derek Griffin is a leading source of understanding & inspiration. As a physiotherapist with a PhD in chronic musculoskeletal pain, he specialises in the management of patients with complex chronic pain disorders.

Dr Griffin is also a highly respected runner with a 2hr 31 finish at London Marathon 2018. As far as understanding runners in pain, they don't come much more experienced than this speaker, and his presentation at this year's RCL Running Conference certainly lived up to the expectation.
