How Can Massage Help Runners? (Runchatlive 2020 Day 2.4 Alice Sanvito)
RCL INTERNATIONAL RUNNING CONFERENCE
October 29th-30th 2020
Day2.4: Alice Sanvito
Presentation: “How Can Massage Help Runners?”
Despite the popularity of massage, many of the common assumptions of what is happening physiologically are poorly evidenced. Alice presents a look at what massage does & doesn’t do, and how we can make it work better.
With extensive training in Russian Medical & Sports Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy, Alice Sanvito is one of four therapists in the United States selected by Zhenya Kurashova Wine to be trained as instructors for the Kurashova Institute for the Study of Physical Medicine.
Duration: 56 minutes

Due to a slightly weaker internet connection at Alice’s end, this presentation does have a few moments of a slight visual lag. The audio is fine though. Please check the clip above before purchasing.
The post-purchase confirmation will contain a link to access the YouTube video.
As one of our planned visitors from the USA, it was once again such a shame that Alice could not join us in the flesh! That said, her presentation proved to be hugely popular, done as always in her own unique style with 'poop scoop' in hand! As one of just four therapists in the USA selected by Zhenya Kurashova Wine to be trained as instructors for the Kurashova Institute for the Study of Physical Medicine, Alice Sanvito has a great amount of experience in massage therapy, with a no nonsense science-based approach that makes her a leading figure in a number of online communities.
