When it comes to running injury prevention, there is SO much conflicting information out there, and much of it is not actually based on any scientific evidence. And it’s not just Google that throws out dubious information – many traditional therapists, coaches and personal trainers fail to stay up to date with the research (which is why we also provide courses for them).

In Lesson 5 of the course, we discuss one of the most common issues that new runners face, as well as runners returning from a long absence: breathlessness.

Put ‘how to breath when running’ into Google and you enter a minefield of conflicting information, much of which is not supported by any evidence. Should we breathe through the mouth or nose? Is there a particular rhythm or technique we should be using? Is there something wrong with my lungs? Find answers to these questions in this 12 minute video.
