In Lesson 2 of the course, we take a look at the warm up, in particular the traditional practice of static stretching.
Despite the strong belief that static stretching (maintaining a stretch for a period of time) can reduce risk of injury and improve performance, the evidence is surprisingly not that great. In fact, some suggests that static stretching could even reduce performance.
